Family Support Network for Employment
What they do: Provide individuals with developmental disabilities and their families the knowledge and tools they need to advocate for, and secure, meaningful paid employment through online videos and information. Based in the Greater Toronto Area.

LiveWorkPlay
What they do: Champions workplace inclusion specialists who assist adults with intellectual disabilities and autistic individuals in finding meaningful, fairly-compensated community employment. LiveWorkPlay is a charity based in Ottawa.

Employment Works Ottawa (Age 16 - 29)
What they do: Provides employment training, job readiness programming, industry certifications, and 12 weeks of 1:1 on-the-job support for individuals with diverse needs. Employment Works Ottawa is based in Ottawa.

Canadian Council for Rehabilitative Work (CCRW)
What they do: CCRW is a national not-for-profit organization that exists to promote and support meaningful and equitable employment of persons with disabilities. CCRW offers employment goal planning and coaching, resume and cover letter support, interview skills practice, job search assistance, accommodation support, consulting services, and a variety of workshops to job seekers. CCRW also provides a range of services for employers, from consulting, to hiring and retention, and disability confidence training. CCRW has offices in Ottawa.

Youth Services Bureau Employment Services (All ages)
What they do: YSB Employment Services supports job seekers to prepare for the job market and find employment including services such as career exploration, interview preparation, job fairs, computer-based learning centre, work experience programs, job literacy, an online job board, and placement opportunities. YSB Employment Services is not limited to providing support to job seekers with disabilities. YSB has three locations in Ottawa.

Y's Owl Maclure Co-operative (Owl Employment)
What they do: A tailored supported employment service matching job-seekers with local employers, offering comprehensive job coaching, resume development, and ongoing retention support. Y’s Owl Maclure is a cooperative based in Ottawa which supports people with autism, ADHD and other neurodivergences.
Ready Willing and Able-RWA
What they do: Ready, Willing and Able works directly with businesses who are looking to hire inclusively and build inclusive workplaces. RWA does not provide employment supports directly and does not provide job opportunities directly to job seekers. RWA shares job opportunities with employment agency partners in 30 communities across Canada, including in Ottawa.

EmployAbility
What they do: EmployAbility is a supported employment service provider that promotes equitable access to employment for individuals with diverse abilities. We provide mentorship, an employment readiness course, encouragement to attain employment goals, and inclusive job placements. Services available by referral from DSO. OCAPDD (parent organization) is an Ottawa-based charity.

CVE Inc – Integrated Employment Services Ontario (Age 16+)
What they do: CVE provides employment support services in Ottawa and Gatineau to individuals who identify as having a disability. Services include supporting applications, resume building, interview preparation, tailored job matches, workplace accommodations, networking, ongoing support.

Student Links through Community Living Ontario (Ages 14-21)
What they do: Student Links is an opportunity for students (ages 14 to 21) who have an intellectual disability to explore ideas for their future after high school. It matches students and mentors who share a common passion or interest. The goal is to enhance their capacity to make informed decisions about their future prior to leaving school and to support the natural development of relationships and connections to their community.

Employment Accessibility Resource Network
What they do: The Employment Accessibility Resource Network (EARN) is a community wide initiative led by United Way East Ontario including Ottawa, Lanark County, Renfrew County, and the United Counties of Prescott Russell, that brings together in partnership employers, service providers and other stakeholders with the goal of increasing employment opportunities for people with disabilities and promoting inclusive and accessible workplaces. EARN does not provide services directly to families or people with disabilities.

Ontario Disability Employment Network-ODEN
What they do: ODEN is an Ontario-wide organization that provides support to businesses and employment service providers about inclusive employment. The website has videos and helpful information about disability awareness training for employment settings. ODEN does not provide support directly to families or job-seekers.
